I am a part of the MSU poetry club and am involved with the greater Lansing poetry scene. Through involvement with The 517 Poetry Room, I have had the chance to open for poets Neil Hilborn, Rudy Francisco, Ebony Stewart, and Ayanna Florence, compete in multiple slam competitions, and co-host open mics and feature shows in Lansing.

It started on Instagram. I have been self-publishing poetry and prose on social media for 5+ years, and accumulated over 17k followers between Instagram and TikTok.
Studio 10
In the spring of 2024, I did a news interview with Lansing's WILX-TV Studio 10 for National Poetry Month with my friend and fellow MSU Poetry Club member Khanyi Nawa. We discussed our journeys as college poets, connecting with the Greater Lansing community, and each performed a poem on air.

In 2025, my original poem 'girl dinner' was featured on Button Poetry, Minneapolis-based poetry company and independent publisher of performance poetry.
